Music in (is) my life!

Well... my mom always get angry with me because sometimes she is calling me (first softly, then yelling xD) andi just don't hear her...

And the reason is because i'm ALWAYS listening to music! As nietzsche said: "without music our lives would be a mistake".

I enjoy a lot with music, and i like a lot of types of it, for example i like classic music (Beethoven, Mozart, Bach,Verdi and others), some of electric music, as tecno and that stuff... But the type that i truly love it's the Proggresive Rock,in all of its styles: New Age, Jazz, Classic, etc. Some exponents like: Frank Zappa; Mago de Hoz and Rata Blanca in spanish; Simphony X, Tool... But the band that steal my ears is Dream Theater, that it's definetly my favourite band... I love all of their songs!

Well... as i said before, i listen music all days, in all hours, in all moments: when i'm traveling, walking in the street, in my bed, when i'm happy, sad, angry... well, i could be writting al day, but i'm going to just finish here xD

My "Earthquake Experience"

On 27º February, I was in a party, of the birthday of a good friend of mine.

At 3:34 a.m., I was having fun when suddenly there came a shutdown of electricity so we were in a blackout.

Because of the darkness, my friend went to open the main door, to let the light get in from the outside, and just when the door got open, the earthquake began, very slowly at the start and a girl started to yell, very scared and I said: "easy, easy it's just a little movement", and just when i said that, the earthquake became very strong so we got out of the house and held on to the fence.

Next day, I mean 27º in the morning, we watched with horror the disaster that the earthquake left and we organized a basic "survival kit" with food and supplies.

Presentation

Well, my name is César Jiménez Sánchez, I'm 19 years old, I live im Maipú, Santiago. Last year I started studying public administration in the Universidad de Chile and before I studied in the Instituto Nacional.

I expect that this blog will be a good way to express myself and to set free some of the things that I create in my mind, my own world as it's said. Probably I'll use this blog not only for the English class, I mean, this could be a way of expressing and probably I'm going to like it...
